The Main Difference Between a Resume and a CV

There are two most popular types of job applications - Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Resume. Although the aim of both is to land an interview, they present information differently.

A CV gives a detailed overview of your life's accomplishments, and it can run three pages or longer. It's a static document and doesn't change for different positions.

A good resume, however, is usually a single-page document targeted at a specific job position.
